The Story of Kils

I was four when I was kidnapped and taken into captivity.
They started what they called my 'training' right away,
which meant they made me fight over and over and over again.
They were trying to make me the perfect super weapon,
which meant I wasn't allowed to fail.
If I lost a fight, they would have my opponent beat me
until I couldn't move anymore
and would lock me up in a cell
with no food or water for days.
And even if I won,
they would punish me if I did something in battle
that they did not approve of.

And they wanted me to do things,
horrible things.
When I refused, they would beat me and torture me.
But I didn't want to do what they were telling me to.
eventually they started beating me if they caught me doing anything
that expressed free will.

But I still wouldn't do what they said,
So they started doing things to my mind.
Trying to force me to be obedient.
There are whole chunks of time,
days,
weeks,
that are just gone,
and when I try to remember them,
All I see is black emptiness.
And whenever I think back
to right before that blackness,
I see them.

They have me strapped down in that lab.
They're doing things to me.
Connecting things to my head.
Putting needles in the back of my neck.
And no matter how much I beg,
they don't stop.
It's as though they don't even hear me.
Then everything goes black
and I wake up in a cell
and it all starts over again...
